Last Children's Hour of 2018

We've worked up an appetite this summer! For our FINAL CHILDREN'S HOUR OF THIS YEAR, we are celebrating with some traditional foods! Learn more about the foods you see at many traditional celebrations, check out a cooking demonstration, get a taste and bring home a recipe to try! Thank you all for joining us for this year's children's hour and be sure to look for us again in 2019!

Children's Hour at Tomaquag Museum is a FREE public program held every Wednesday morning from 10:00-11:00 am for children of all ages. Each week features a different interactive lesson. Through music, dance, storytelling, crafts and Narragansett language, museum educators focus on Indigenous New England history, culture and art.

Thank you to our sponsors from the Washington Trust Company and Rhode Island State Council for the Arts! For more information, contact us at 401-491-9063 or email slarose@tomaquagmuseum.org.
