NEW Museum!
CHANGE IS COMING!
In case you haven’t heard the news, Tomaquag Museum will have a new home! In 2024, a new museum campus will open on 18 acres of rural land owned by the University of Rhode Island. Along with partnering with the University of Rhode Island, Tomaquag Museum has been working with the Rhode Island School of Design and the Wakefield firm of Frank Karpowicz Architects on landscaping and designing the four buildings of the new museum. Tomaquag Museum has been preparing for the new museum opening by creating overarching themes, exhibit designs, and figuring out the best way to honor and share the gifts of Indigenous cultures, past, present, and future.

It’s because of the generosity of people like you that Tomaquag Museum can continue our goal of creating an Indigenous Cultural Education destination. A place to educate the public and empower the Indigenous community. With your help, this dream becomes a reality. In preparation, we will be working on creating overarching themes, exhibit designs, and figuring out the best way to honor and share the gifts of Indigenous cultures, past, present, and future. You are the special type of person that changes lives, lifts people up, and makes the world a better place. With each donation we receive, we become all that much closer to our goal. Thank you for making a difference through your compassion and generosity.
